FAQs

How quickly can I start therapy?

Today, tomorrow, or this week. We have current openings and are ready to make your first appointment so you can start feeling better as soon as possible.

How many sessions do I need?

Sometimes people just need one session or a few sessions to resolve an issue and start feeling better. Others want to establish a lasting relationship with a therapist for longer-term work. Your therapist will talk with you about how long to expect therapy to last and how to meet your specific needs.

How long do sessions last?

Initial sessions last 40-50 minutes. Follow up sessions generally last 55 minutes.

How much will therapy cost?

We accept insurance to make therapy affordable. We’ll let you know before the session what to expect for your deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance. If we don’t take your insurance we will tell you upfront so there’s no surprise. If you want to work with us and we don’t take your insurance we’ll charge our full fees and provide you with a superbill (aka a detailed invoice for health insurance claims) so you can submit the claim to your insurance for reimbursement with out-of-network providers.

Our current fees are:

$300 for the initial session

$275 for 53+ minute sessions

$250 for 40+ minute sessions

How do I know if therapy is working?

Your therapist will check in with you during sessions to discuss progress and identify how you’re doing on reaching your goals. If you need something different or therapy isn’t recommended your therapist will help you find other options.
